Orlando @ Boston ESPN Feature Game

Magic are rolling into Boston tonight to play an ESPN feature game after coming off a road win vs The Hornets. Orlando is 1-4 ATS L5 as well as 3-7 SU L10. A casual NBA fan would look at this and say; “What? Take the Magic plus 7 vs Boston?” Realize that Walker and Smart are both out for The Celtics tonight as well as refs that favor the road teams.

The next issue we have here is the reverse line movement or RLM. The sharps smell blood in the water on this one and have driven the line from 8 to 6 with 59% of the spread money sitting on the road dog at the time of this article. Boston is securing 76% of the betting tickets and this firmly puts them on the side of the public and for good reason. Boston is very good at home and is carrying an 8-2 ATS record L10 as well as a 20-5 home record SU but I think tonight they will have too many factors going against them from a betting standpoint.

Could they win this game? Sure they could but I don’t see them covering the Vegas line. On paper, this looks like a no brainer Boston play. Good thing they play the games on the court and not on paper. I play the Vegas lines, not the teams. If the numbers line up the numbers line up. This is a Game 1 of an ESPN doubleheader and betting tickets are creeping into the 2k mark.

Educated action is on Orlando +7 at -120 I’m buying insurance from 6.5 to 7 and avoiding the hook.

Best of luck whichever way you go.
