We are fresh out of the All Star break and I was going to do an article about how to bet NBA in the second half of the season, but these numbers are dialing up on Brooklyn. There are over 4000 bets on this game right now, which is the TNT primetime game.Â

The oddsmakers have set this line at 8.5 but during the course of the day the sharps have pushed it down to 7 in most books. Ben Simmons is out for the Sixers that is taking away the inside threat for Philly. This total is dropping like a rock from the opening at 219 all the way to 214 which is an indicator to take the underdog and the points.

I typically don’t like playing games right out of the All Star break but all of my capping criteria are throwing green lights. Brooklyn is carrying a strong 5-0 ATS record in their last 5 games as to where Philly is 2-3 ATS in their last 5 games. Simmons being out is a big reason for this sharp action moving on The Nets and I tend to agree with them. I like a defensive game here out of the Nets as they are the 9th ranked D in the league. The question will be how well will their 22nd ranked offense compensate without Kyrie Irving?
This is divisional matchup and it is best to follow the reverse line movement (RLM) as it has a 59% winning percentage.
I’m going to take Brooklyn and the points tonight only as Philly still has one of the best home straight up records in the league.
Best of luck whichever way you go. #WMF
