The Golden Knights vs Wild has been unexpectedly one of the most fun season series matchups in the entire NHL this season. Both the Vegas and Minnesota have won 30+ games thus far, and have taken each other to over time twice.
As we work down the home stretch of the regular NHL season, these Golden Knights vs Wild games are certainly ones you do not want to miss.

Golden Knights vs Wild Season Series in Review
There is one word to describe the nature of the Golden Knights vs Wild this season, and that is competitive.
Maybe more so than any other two teams in the NFL right now, the Golden Knights vs Wild skate with each other stride for stride, score at the exact same rate, and push each other to the limit.
The Golden Knights and Wild have done battle six times over the course of the season, and with the exception of a single outlier on March 3rd, each and every one of the games has resulted in just a one goal victory.
Though all games have been close, the Wild have found a way to continue to just barley edge out the Golden Knights on a game by game basis. Minnesota has been victorious in four straight games against Las Vegas, twice at home, and twice on the road.
Penguins vs Flyers Game Preview
This makes me absolutely LOVE the Golden Knights tonight. They are simply too good to lose five games in a row to the same team, no matter who it is.
The Wild are certainly good at home, holding a record of 18-5-1, but the Golden Knights also have to be respected on the road, as they own a record of 17-8, of of the NHL’s best.
Both teams are coming off an overtime game, but for Minnesota it was the second consecutive, splitting results with the St. Louis Blues.
Goaltending Will Determine This Game
More so than anything else, play between the pipes is going to determine this game. The Wild have played a ton of extra minutes lately, while Vegas has been on the road for a few days already, because of that, both teams may be a step slow, a bit tired, and will lean heavily on the performances of their respective goaltenders.
Luckily for Golden Knight fans and betters alike, they have a goaltender who is leaps and bounds better. Marc Andre Fleury has worked his way into the second favorite to win this years Vezina Trophy, after not even making the top 10 in the preseason.
He has truly put the team on his back, carrying Vegas to a top three defensive ranking in any category you choose, and allowing the fewest goals, as a team, in the entire NHL at 2.16. He owns a record of 23-10, including five shutouts to go along with a .926 sv% and 2.08 GAA.
He has not been confirmed as the starter tonight, but back up goaltender Robin Lehner has also been very good this season with a record of 12-2 with a .923 sv% and 2.03 GAA.
No matter who starts in net for the Golden Knights, it is an advantage over Cam Talbot, who is currently struggling. He has allowed nine goals in his last two appearances, and has been pulled a couple of times this season.
Golden Knights vs Wild Prediction and Best Bet
As I mentioned earlier, the Golden Knights are just simply too good to lose five in a row to the Wild. I like them to go 2-0 against Minnesota in the next two games.
Go ahead and lay the -125 on the ML tonight. If Vegas wins, it is only going to go up for Wednesday night’s game. This is your chance to go big.
